Math - here she is finding the pattern and learning the next decreasing or increasing pattern.

Then subtraction battle with 2 cards.

Then outdoor club where we did a short hike to learn about mushrooms!

Tuesday

The last weekend we learned orienteering and played soccer.  We also attended a play at 5th Ave Theater.

Then today, Pumpkin Farm fun:

And a bit of piano practice and some subtraction/comparison math with whole-part circle sets.

Piano practice before taking piano at school with Mrs Doreen.

She made a diorama in Maker Studio.

We did spelling focusing on /s/ and /z/ sounds and u and oo sounds.

We did math which talked about equation.  Equal and not equal.

And we read Genesis chapter in The Tarantula in My Purse and the prologue and chapter 1 in Tales from the Odyssey where we learned about Greece army taking over Troy.  She was able to tell her Dad this at dinner.

On Tuesday we attended a Kindess seminar by Houston Kraft.

And saw My Little Ponies at the theater, because it is $5 Tuesday's in October.

Wednesday

Did a math subtraction memory game.

She worked on painting her game that she made out of some wood pieces.

Then went outdoors to talk about Camp Fire and decided we aren't going to lead it officially, but still want to do some gathering of awesome parents and kids.

Thursday

Made pumpkin muffins.  She read the recipe and mixed all ingredients.   

Then math.  Take part from 10 concept.

I promised I would sew with her on our Something Fun Thursday.  She laughed hysterically at how fast the needle went up and down on full speed (with no thread in).

Orienteering at Lynndale Park with the Edmonds Heights team.  Fun stuff.

She found the last one on her own!

2017_Oct 4-5

Talked about Carthage and Ashurbanipal

Found those cities on the map.

Worked on subtraction and finding the missing number, writing the equation.

She spent a good portion of the day working on a highlights magazine that she made herself. 

Thursday we did school outside after swinging by Value Village for a costume and she picked up the sweet fashion plates you see here.

We worked on subtracting small numbers.

Then played a corners game before she got sick.  :(
